Last Thursday I attended my first book club meeting. I had always wanted to join one but well I hadn't found one I would feel comfortable in. The book we read was, "She's Come Undone", by Wally Lamb. I joined book club about a week before the meeting so I did not finish reading the book. I only got to chapter 11. Maybe I just wasn't feeling the book. I found it to be super depressing and I was a little disturbed by the main characters actions and thoughts.
I had so much fun at book club! My cheeks were sore from smiling and laughing so much. I can't believe I have missed out on all the fun of book club for so long! It could just be that all the HAMmies are just amazing, fun people, though.
This month's book is Nightlight which is a parody of Twilight. I am halfway through it already but will reserve my thoughts for the book club meeting.
