I have been so ridiculously busy for the past few weeks which explains my prolonged absence from this here blog! My two current classes are seriously kicking my tushy!! These two classes are enjoyable though and I am soaking up so much new information it is crazy! I am currently working on a research paper on prescription drug abuse which I have had so much fun researching. Gee I must sound like such a nerd! I can't help it though I am really taking pleasure in my studies. I have a 3.9 GPA so far and I have worked really hard for and I am working even harder to maintain. I guess this is the main reason for the lack of posting here.
Here is a little bit of what has been going on recently:
- My brother and his family came to visit for Thanksgiving and I had such an amazing time with them. (I will post more about this some other time)
- We had Aiden an early birthday party (again I will post more about this later)
- I started smoking again - something I am not proud of but the holidays always get to me
- Christmas was great - we spent time with family and made yummy tamales!
- I am dealing with a smidge of depression as I always do during the holidays.
- Bunny is doing great and read 7 books this weekend!
- Aiden is loving all of his new toys he got for Christmas and his bday
- I am enjoying every minute of my winter break from classes (all while still studying and working on my research paper)
I will try and post some of the pictures and snips of videos some other time. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas!
