Houston's weather is FINALLY cooling down a bit and the holidays are rolling around. They will be here before you know it! I have been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving and Christmas. My two favorite holidays. I still do not know what our plans are yet but I know that on top of all my baking (yes I bake!)I want to make a nice breakfast. I usually only bake for Thanksgiving and Christmas since cooking is not really my thing. Isn't that what husbands are for? No. Oh well I beg to differ! I found this nice recipe here for pumpkin pancakes. I think they might be worth trying out they sound YUMMY. I think making breakfast and all the goodies I bake will be an enormous contribution to Thanksgiving. I also think that the huge contribution will earn me the right to be lazy for the remainder of Thanksgiving weekend. After all I will be exhausted after all the shopping!

Those sound so good!! Might have to try this one morning... Although I would love to have my husband get up and make me breaskfast in bed! Good Lord we know that will never happen! lol :-)
