Not So Bad Mommy

I did make it to Bunny's concert last night afterall due to some changes in our plans.  I was unable to stay for the entire concert but I did catch the first two songs of her 3 song set.  I am so proud of her!  She has made so much progress.  She has a wonderful instructor and great classmates.  The songs were beautiful and the orchestra students played beautifully.  I am so blessed to have been able to make it.  I was pretty upset about missing the concert.  I was being so hard on myself but Bunny is such an understanding young lady, she gave me no grief.  I wish that everyone had a daughter as awesome as my Bunny.

Last night was great! Marleyn and I made plans to see Paul Rodriguez at the Improv but for some reason last night's show was cancelled.  I was looking forward to going to the show since I have never been to a comedy show and it sounds like so much fun.  Oh well!  We will just have to try again another time!  Marleyn and I made plans to at least get together for dinner.  We had so much fun!  She truly is an engaging conversationalist and hilarious to boot!  She is an amazing woman and a caring mother.  I really am so lucky to have her in my life!  I love you Marleyn!!  We had dinner at Saltgrass Steak House. (I recommend the Steak soup.  YUM YUM!)  We stayed and talked  and laughed for hours!  I am sure they were glad to be rid of us but we had a great night.  I can hardly wait until we are able to get together again.
