Aiden is not what you would call vocal. Since he was born, he has always been a very laid back, mellow guy. He never really babbled and getting a laugh out of him was quite the task. Aiden is now about to be 22 months. Up until now the only word he knew was "ball". Now that is all fine and dandy, but he called everything a "ball". I would ask him, "Aiden, would you like your milk?" Aiden would reply, "Ball". So you can see my surprise when this week he learned about 10 words and 1 PHRASE. Now the phrase he learned is not something I want to hear from him. "I don't want to," he says ALL THE TIME! Drives me nuts. But I am still so excited that he is finally learning to talk. He learned to call his new puppy! Aiden also learned to say his best friend's name. My little guy is growing up and I have a feeling now he is going to really let me know what he thinks!

Oh boy are you in for a treat! It seems like as soon as they turn two they know everything and say all kinds of things you never even knew they knew! Let the fun begin! :-)
