I won't be winning one of these for best mom anytime soon.My Bunny has been in Orchestra for 5 years now. She plays the viola and she seems to enjoy it. Her schools have always had 2 concerts a year along with the opportunity to do what they call Solo & Ensemble. I have never ever missed a performance. EVER. While I may not completely enjoy the concerts, I want her to know I support her and her interests. Even if it means my ears bleed a little when the beginners perform. (Bunny is obviously beyond a beginner.) I admire how graceful she looks when she is performing and I am jealous she has musical talent. (I am seriously lacking in that department)
I have a wonderful friend, Marleyn, who I adore but do not get to spend too much time with. HI MARLEYN!!! She is an amazing person and I love her so much! Our schedules conflict and we do not exactly live near each other. I live in west Houston and she lives clear across town in east Houston. I miss her constantly but we usually make do with phone calls and texting. When we do have the chance to get together we always have the best time!
Marleyn and I made plans to get together tonight (which I am so excited about! SQUEAL!) Bunny's first high school concert is tonight. I feel like a totally horrible mother. I mean I am proud that I have never missed a concert. Not only am I going to miss a concert but it is her FIRST high school concert. What makes it even worse is I am the only one who comes to see her perform. Grandma is always too tired, Bib just hates it, Grandpa; well he never goes anywhere. That just leaves me. Without me there is no one. I deserve to be bad mommy of the day. I am an awful mother. :(

He He He, you are too funny. I think as long as she understands all is good! There just never seems to be enough time to get everything done. That's great that she's been playing for 5 years!! Good Luck at your concert Adriana!!! :-)
