8th Grade Prom

Bunny's 8th grade prom was Saturday. We spent all afternoon Friday trying to find shoes for her dress. We couldn't find any so we had to go back Saturday morning to look again. We finally found the perfect shoes after searching 2 malls! We went and had her hair and make up done right before the dance. We picked up her friend and made it to the dance just in time.

It was so nice! (From what I could see from the car.) There was a red carpet and "paparazzi". They even had a camera man following them in. It was so cute.

Bunny said she had a great time with all of her friends. She looked gorgeous.





All of this reminded me of how I didn't get to go to my 8th grade dance. I wish I had been able to go. I unfortunately was not eligible to attend since I had a teensky weensky run in with suspension among other things. Hee hee. I wasn't bad per say. But I always seemed to be involved in something I shouldn't have been involved in. I also realized how fortunate Bunny is. My mom is and was wonderful. She always did as much as she could for me. But she struggled. I know I wouldn't have had the opportunity to have my hair done or even get a new dress. It makes me appreciate the things I am able to do for my children even more.
