Recently, during a trip to Hollywood video, I came across the first season of LOST. When the first season started I saw the previews and thought, "That show looks really really interesting. I'm definitely gonna watch that!" Then the night the show came on for the first time, I was busy. Being a mother messes with your priorities. I wanted to watch this super appealing show but, NO, I had to cook/clean/wash/help with homework/take Bunny to practice/take Bunny to a game/go to a recital/teacher meeting. I don't remember which of these everyday mom things kept me from enjoying myself. Anyway, I came across the first season on DVD and rented it. I WAS HOOKED!!!. So I went back and immediately rented seasons 2 & 3. I became obsessed! I mean its all I could think about. It was actually kinda sad.
I am relieved that finally a new episode will be on tonight. I don't want to miss it but I know that I have cooking/cleaning/bottle washing/feeding/bathing/packing/wrapping/gift shopping to do tonight. I will probably forget. Those darn priorities again keeping me from what I want most! I need to get my priorities straight. TV before family, right?
