I Suck at This!

So I am sure everyone is very shocked that it took me several months to come back to the blogging world. I have been swamped at work and at home. My camera is broken.  It has finally been put out of it's misery, Aiden made sure of that! So without my camera I have no pictures.  No pictures = no blogging.  I mean serisouly who wants to read a blog that has no pictures? Speaking of pictures, here is an old one of Aiden just so that there is at least one picture for this post!

There hasn't been anything really intersting going on in our lives lately.  Work and school have kept me too busy to go anywhere fabulous or do anything fun. Nothing even remotely interesting has happened lately.

Now I am all sad and depressed!  :) Man!  I need to get a life! 

Well, here's hoping I have something interesting to share next time.

Slacker mom

I have been so busy lately that I did not have time to put together an Easter basket for Aiden.  I finally had a quick minute to go to the store today but EVERYTHING was gone.  I didn't have time to try a different store so I just grabbed a few things and prayed I had a basket at home!  All things considered I think it came out okay and I know he will love all of his goodies!

HAMmies on the news!

My mommies group was on the news Friday!  I was there with Aiden and Adriana but we all avoided the cameraman like the plague!

Discovery Green

We spent the morning at Discovery Green with H.A.M. The kids had a great time and it was wonderful since so many of the moms in the mommies group showed up!  Channel 2 came to do a story about our group that day too.  It was a beautiful day and it was great spending time with my HAMmies as usual!

Tipsy Bowling

Friday night Chellsey, Girlie, and I went drinking bowling.  We went to 300 Houston and had so much fun.  Maybe even possibly too much fun!

Chellsey felt it was imperative we document that we did eat before we drank!

Apparently, we are not the best bowlers.

Chug! Chug! Chug!

After we bowled a couple of games we hung out in the parking lot and danced hung out till we were sober ready to go home.  I have some more pictures but those I will burn not share.

HAM Book Club

Last Thursday I attended my first book club meeting.  I had always wanted to join one but well I hadn't found one I would feel comfortable in.  The book we read was, "She's Come Undone", by Wally Lamb. 

I joined book club about a week before the meeting so I did not finish reading the book.  I only got to chapter 11.  Maybe I just wasn't feeling the book.  I found it to be super depressing and I was a little disturbed by the main characters actions and thoughts.

I had so much fun at book club!  My cheeks were sore from smiling and laughing so much.  I can't believe I have missed out on all the fun of book club for so long!  It could just be that all the HAMmies are just amazing, fun people, though.

This month's book is Nightlight which is a parody of Twilight.  I am halfway through it already but will reserve my thoughts for the book club meeting.

I'm A Slacker (Pretend to be shocked)

I have not been posting.  As if you didn't notice!  I've been livin' the vida loca!  Okay maybe I have just been super busy with work and school but it's still quite the crazy life.  My workload for my current courses is pretty gosh darn heavy so that keeps me pretty gosh darn busy.

I do have a couple of pictures I wanted to post of Aiden and Malchi's 2nd birthday party from way back in November.  You obviously do not have to pretend to be shocked at this one.
